In March 6th and 7th, 2025, Director Board and officers from VNU Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-CEA) observed the activities of the Evaluation Team from the International Joint Accreditation Standards (iJAS) Project, which was conducting an assessment of the educational quality of Vietnam Japan University, VNU.

Participants in the observation team included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien – Director of VNU-CEA; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan – Deputy Director of VNU-CEA; Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh - Deputy Head of the Division of Education Quality Assessment and Recognization; Mr. Ta Van Thanh – Officer of the Division of Education Quality Assessment and Recognization; and Ms. Tran Mai Anh Officer of the Administration and Personnel Office of VNU-CEA.

The schedule for the evaluation of Vietnam Japan University, VNU, spanned two days. The first day (March 6th, 2025) involved quality assessment activities at the My Dinh campus, including visits to facilities, labs, and classrooms; interviews and group discussions with stakeholders (learners, support staff, lecturers, etc.). On the second day (March 7th, 2025), the Quality Assessment Expert Team continued their visits to facilities, equipment, and classrooms at the Hoa Lac campus. The Expert Team also visited the headquarters of VNU Center for Education Accreditation at Building HT2, VNU in Hoa Lac.

JUAA is one of the two founding organizations of iJAS and plays an important role in the management and operation of the iJAS project. Previously, VNU Center for Education Accreditation had working sessions and professional exchanges with JUAA, including the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation, training in program evaluation for the quality assessment expert group, etc. This activity observing the Quality Assessment Expert Team is one of the main cooperation activities.
